Quality sport and activity coaching that is age-appropriate and offers sufficient choice to attract boys and girls across the entire age range of 5-12 years.
Activate Sport have grown from providing specialist football and cricket courses in 2004 to the sport, activity and adventure camps run today; offering a range of key sports, multi-sport, multi-activity and dance and drama.
Our dynamic, enthusiastic and motivated team are continually enhancing our courses and content to ensure that all children enjoy the best possible Activate Sport camp experience, regardless of age or ability level.
2009 sees the introduction of new activities to our adventure camps programme such as Bungee Running, Gladiator games and the Zorb ball. These new activities are added to our successful curriculum which includes Fencing, Archery, Climbing and Abseiling.
With London 2012 just around the corner, look out for our Gold Medal Games camps this year, introducing children to both individual and team Olympic sports. The highlight of each week is the visit from an athlete training for the games in London.
All of our programmes are written and delivered by qualified professional instructors.
We are delighted to be running the Andrew Flintoff Cricket Academy. This year the Academy, for children aged 5-16 years, will operate at over 40 venues across the UK with Fred or another international cricketer visiting every course to give the children a truly memorable experience.
The Lee Westwood Golf Academy returns this summer for children aged 7-16 years. We congratulate Lee on becoming the world number 1 player in 2010 and look forward to working with him again this summer. Lee’s academies will be at 10 golf clubs throughout the UK with Lee or a European tour player visiting every camp. Look out for our 5-day residential course at Bloxham School.
2010 saw the launch of the International Netball Roadshow. The Roadshow 3-day course has one of our head coaches, Tracey Neville, Karen Atkinson and Olivia Young leading each programme. Tracey, Karen and Olivia have over 250 England caps between them, representing a fantastic opportunity for netball playing children aged 7-16 years in the UK.
2011 sees the launch of the Annabel Croft Tennis Academy for children aged 5-16 years. With a programme designed by Annabel, attendees are guaranteed a fantastic opportunity to improve their tennis skills from the former British number 1. The academy runs all year round at the National Tennis Centre in Roehampton.
Hockey Masterclass launches in 2011 with a curriculum designed by Crista Cullen, one of the leading female players in the UK. Each course will be led by a current GB or England international on one of the days, providing children aged 7-16 years with an opportunity to learn from the very best players.
